Jay Rydel is an American singer, songwriter, and producer born and raised in Atlanta, Georgia. Blending pop, rock, soul, funk, folk, R&B, and hip-hop, his music captures a unique combination of many popular styles. 

Since 2015, Rydel has been a full-time freelance musician and independent artist with 12 singles released to date. He regularly shares the stage with the industry's top musicians and has collaborated in the studio with some of Atlanta's best up-and-coming talent. 

Rydel began piano lessons at the age of 4, started performing on piano at 5, began singing in chorus at 11, and took up guitar at 12. He managed and sang in the CU Buffoons college a cappella group, co-founded and wrote for his college funk-rock band, and has performed with and produced many independent artists. Currently, Rydel focuses on learning songs, playing gigs, and writing and producing for his original project.
