Edgar Gonzalez is a 26-year-old professional DJ with four years of experience. Born and raised in Los Angeles, he moved to Dallas in 2007. Taking great pride in his culture, he initially performed under the name EseVatoEdgar before recently changing it to Misael. An open format DJ, he specializes in Latin and hip hop music. Edgar began his career as a party and private event DJ while in college and transitioned to club performances about a year and a half ago. He is currently the main resident DJ at Cafe Salsera in Deep Ellum from Fridays to Sundays and at El Chingon in Fort Worth on Wednesdays. He has had the pleasure of DJing at various clubs across the DFW area, including Clutch, Greenlight Social, SideBar, Rokwood, 216, Seven Lounge, Ampersand, Area 111, Vinty, Opera, Stars & Spirits, Sweet Bar, Firefly, Public House, Tavern, and Bali Beach. Additionally, he had the opportunity to fly to Los Angeles to DJ at Avalon in Hollywood for one of the biggest Latin parties in the nation.
