Jay Rydel is an American singer, songwriter, and producer born and raised in Atlanta, Georgia. Blending pop, rock, soul, funk, folk, r&b, and hip-hop, his music captures a unique combination of many popular styles of music. 
 
Since 2015 Jay has been a full time freelance musician and independent artist with 12 singles out to date. He regularly shares the stage with the industry's top musicians and has been in the studio with some of Atlanta's best up and coming talent.   

Jay started piano lessons at the age of 4 years old, started performing piano at the age of 5, began singing in chorus at 11, and took up guitar at 12. He managed and sang in the CU Buffoons college a cappella group, co-founded and wrote for his college funk-rock band, and has now performed with and produced many independent artists. These days, Jay focuses on learning songs, playing gigs, and writing and producing for his original project.
