Sending out supersonic love through a mixture of old-home melodies and psychedelic rock, John Paris is decidedly carving out a new niche for the hot-dog-eatin’, pot-smokin’ young Americans who just love a good night out of guitar worship and lyrical delight delivered à la carte. 

In the last 10 years, he's lived and played in New York City, Berlin, Nashville, and Charleston, bringing his music to stages as diverse as post-soviet rock clubs and Nashville honky-tonks. Now, based out of Charlotte, he's building out southeastern tours with both his rock outfit and band and his Jam Mayer tribute group. His playing has been described as "hot … JP’s impressive guitar work completes the band’s robust energy as they weave from counterpoint into playful improvisation, all the while teasing the audience back to the charm of their folk-sweet-nothing songwriting.”
