Opus & The Frequencies is a genre-bending band from Columbia, South Carolina, known for their energetic live performances and eclectic sound. The group consists of lead singer and multi-instrumentalist Tony “Opus” Williams, bassist Steven Tapia-Macias, drummer Jesse Tortorella, and guitarist Kirk Barnes. Their music blends funk, indie rock, Latin grooves, and pop sensibilities, creating a distinctive and dynamic sound. In early 2023, they released their debut EP, “You’re Trash, Kid,” showcasing their diverse musical influences. Following this, they released the single “Euphoria” in late 2024. Their motto, “All Frequencies Welcome,” reflects their commitment to inclusivity and musical diversity.
